A cheery clip for a Friday afternoon. You might have seen it already, as it’s gone a bit viral. If not, it’s Lewes Primary School’s cover of David Bowie’s Changes.

What freaked me out, while discussing this clip, was the realisation that not only wouldn’t the children have any clue what a great album Hunky Dory is, their parents (my generation) probably wouldn’t either, unless they were particular music fans (like me & my pals).

Because that album came out in 1971, when their GRANDPARENTS were young adults.

*Queenie’s entire world spins off its axis*

Anyway, here it is. I’m not a gooey cheek-tweaking grown up generally, but bless.

’71 was a good year. I hear one of your blogging buddies- not mentioning any names, of course- was born that year. This person also likes Bowie. ;0)

1971, a great vintage. Anyway, all the very best bloggers are 70s babies. :)
